Born in a small fishing village in Andalusia on the Mediterranean coast of Southern Spain, Antonio’s connection to the sea began at an early age through fishing with his father. A professional shipbuilder by training, he brings extensive knowledge in both the mechanical and structural maintenance of sailing yachts. He has spent four years as Captain of an expedition sailing yacht on a scientific circumnavigation funded by public and private institutions, and has also authored two books on nautical travel alongside producing a documentary.
Antonio enjoys sharing his passion for sailing, diving, and life at sea with guests. He is also an enthusiastic cook who loves preparing Mediterranean-inspired dishes and fresh seafood specialties.
Friendly, sincere, and generous by nature, Antonio’s life motto is “Live without fear.” In his spare time he enjoys sailing, fishing, cycling, diving, walking, and reading.
