Zingara est un catamaran avec équipage de 23 mètres, construit en 2006 et rénové en 2020, basé à Village Cay, Tortola, aux Îles Vierges britanniques. Le yacht peut accueillir jusqu’à 10 passagers dans 5 cabines, comprenant une suite avec lit king size et quatre cabines avec lits queen size, chacune disposant d’une douche privative, d’un lavabo et de toilettes électriques. L’équipage se compose de quatre professionnels, avec un capitaine, un chef, une hôtesse, un instructeur de plongée, ainsi qu’un second faisant également office de marin de pont et titulaire de la qualification PADI Staff Instructor. La plongée est incluse dans le tarif de location pour les plongeurs certifiés. Les initiations resort et discovery scuba dive sont également comprises. La partie théorique PADI e learning open water est facturée séparément au tarif de 142,45 US$. Le yacht est équipé de 12 bouteilles de plongée, 12 gilets stabilisateurs et 12 détendeurs, permettant d’accueillir jusqu’à 10 plongeurs.
À bord, les équipements de loisirs comprennent deux paddles, deux kayaks biplaces, un Sea Bob, un wakeboard, des skis nautiques, une bouée tractée, une plateforme flottante de type îlot ainsi que du matériel de pêche avec six cannes. L’annexe de 19 pieds, homologuée pour 10 passagers et propulsée par un moteur de 140 ch, assure les transferts. Le yacht dispose également d’une connexion Internet haut débit Starlink, de la climatisation intégrale, d’un dessalinisateur, d’une machine à glaçons, d’un barbecue, d’un espace fitness, d’une sonorisation dans le carré, d’une caméra sous marine et de téléviseurs connectés dans chaque cabine. La cuisine met à l’honneur des menus élaborés à partir de produits locaux frais, avec une attention particulière portée aux régimes alimentaires spécifiques et à une démarche d’approvisionnement responsable pour les viandes et les produits de la mer. Le yacht est disponible à la location aux Îles Vierges britanniques de fin octobre à début juillet. Des croisières dans les Grenadines sont proposées de début juillet à octobre, et des itinéraires vers les îles du sud peuvent être organisés sur demande. Pour Noël et le Nouvel An, les tarifs pour 7 nuits à bord débutent à 63 700 US$ pour 8 passagers et à 65 700 US$ pour 10 passagers. Les départs depuis les ports des Îles Vierges américaines ne sont pas proposés. Pour les croisières de Spring Break et de Pâques entre le 7 mars et le 15 avril, un minimum de 6 nuits est requis.

CAPTAIN: Reece grew up on the farmlands outside Knysna, South Africa, where he gained strong mechanical, carpentry and hands on skills while spending his free time either in the mountains or surfing and fishing along the coast. With extensive diving experience and in-depth knowledge of the BVI, he combines his adventurous spirit ensuring guests enjoy an unforgettable experience aboard Zingara.
STEWARDESS/DIVE INSTRUCTOR: Margret Church, not only serves as stewardess aboard but she is also a qualified dive instructor, ready to join in your underwater adventures. Her involvement in marine conservation projects and initiatives in the BVI is a passion of hers, combined with a lifelong love for the ocean, she is now able to share her knowledge with guests who would like to learn more. She met Reece on the east coast of South Africa, whilst they were both completing their PADI scuba instructor and freediving instructor courses. Since then, they have been traveling and exploring together and they cannot wait to show you the BVI’s secret spots.
CHEF: Henre Koekemoer. is a qualified chef with three years of professional experience, most of which he gained at a 5-star luxury lodge. he studied at Olive Chef School in Bloemfontein, where he graduated as one of the top students in his class.
Henre specialises in crafting tailored menus that combine fine dining with fresh, seasonal ingredients to suit every guest’s preferences and dietary needs. he gets along well with people from all walks of life, a strength that comes naturally from working in hospitality, and he prides himself on creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere both in and out of the kitchen. Beyond cooking, he is an active and energetic person who enjoys playing a wide variety of sports. His goal is to ensure every charter is memorable, with cuisine that perfectly complements both the luxury and adventure of life at sea.
MATE/DECKHAND: Ryan Clark feels most at home with the ocean at his feet and salt in the air. Working at sea isn’t just a job, it’s who he is. Adventurous, easygoing, kind and friendly, Ryan has a natural way of putting people at ease, creating a relaxed atmosphere whether guests are stepping aboard for the first time or strapping on a dive tank for an underwater adventure. As a PADI Staff Instructor, he guides divers of all levels with patience and a calm, laid-back approach.
