CAPTAIN JAKE LE GASSICK
Jake is a British skipper who grew up in a Naval family, who gave him his love for the water, always living by the coast in the south of England. Jake first started sailing dinghies on his local river when he was 10 and fell in love with it. He carried on sailing throughout his teenage years, and once Jake left school he worked at a boatyard in the south of the UK (Devon) learning more about the maintenance of sailing yachts and the less glamorous side of boating in general! After 4 years maritime work Jake wanted to pursue being a skipper full time and so gained the relevant qualifications and did a season in the Mediterranean as well as a lot of freelance work in the English Channel. Jake is very excited to bring his love for sailing and the water over to the Caribbean!

CHEF JORJA BRADY
Growing up in a small fishing town on Scotland’s East Coast, Jorja has always felt at home by the sea. Her love of hospitality began early, working in local seafood restaurants known for their warm Scottish charm, where she learned the importance of making guests feel welcome.
While studying Sustainable Development at the University of Edinburgh, Jorja honed her hostess, mixologist, and barista skills at high-end events and venues across Scotland. Outside of work and studies, you’d find her hosting dinner parties, recipe-testing with flatmates, and exploring the city’s diverse food scene.
Craving adventure beyond the traditional graduate path, Jorja followed her passion for people and food to luxury safari lodges in Malawi. She wore many hats, overseeing guest experiences, coordinating logistics, and often stepping into the kitchen. She learnt to cook creatively with local ingredients and tailor menus to each guest. This experience shaped her approach to delivering thoughtful, personalised hospitality.
In 2023, Jorja attended culinary school in London to refine her skills before joining the yachting world. Over the past four seasons, she has thrived as a chef and first mate on luxury sailing yachts across the Adriatic and Caribbean seas. Jorja blends her love of the ocean with her passion for cooking and hosting, and she’s excited to welcome you aboard.
