Holding both a 3000 Ton Master License (STCW II/2, Dominica) and a 150 Ton USCG Master License with towing and sail endorsements, he is well-versed in diverse propulsion systems and navigational environments. His extensive operational background spans from the Caribbean Sea and Gulf of Mexico to the Great Lakes, East Coast, and Rhine River. Vessel command highlights include the 102' M/Y Banyan, 100' M/Y Alchemist, and the 185’ small cruise ships Grande Caribe and Grande Mariner, where he was responsible for full ship operations and navigational duties. Additional experience includes offshore support vessels, high-performance jet boats, themed excursion vessels, and sailing charters, showcasing a versatile and proven career in marine operations and guest service.

A UCF biology graduate and Eagle Scout, Edison holds a 100-ton Master's Credential and various maritime certifications. His roles aboard world-class yachts—from Mate to Engineer—have included refits, system maintenance, navigation, and guest engagement, all underpinned by a passion for continuous learning and excellence in marine operations.
