Our Crew

Andrija Ercegović

Captain

Captain Andrija was born in 1991. in Split into a family with a 30-year long tradition of maritime enterprise. He spent most of his childhood helping his father and brothers on ships owned by their family, so he knew very early where he saw himself in the future, happy at sea.

He graduated from the secondary Maritime high school in Split as a nautical officer of the deck. Still, with his eagerness to run a ship on his own, he was slowly upgraded to a Captain, with more than eight years of experience.

Andrija is very athletic; his passions are spearfishing and accessible climbing in his free time. He used to play the guitar very well, but he gave that hobby up to pursue new interests. His crew speaks highly of him as he runs his ship professionally and diligently.

Overall, Andrija is a very warm and easy-going person, which you can see for yourself if you decide to book M/S “Dalmatino” for an extraordinary Croatian cruising experience.

Andrija Želalić

Deckhand

He is a qualified deckhand with years of experience in the yachting industry. During that time, he spent at sea two summer seasons.

He worked as a skipper on fast tourist boats in the Adriatic Sea, where he had numerous day charters and transfers. Working as a luxury motor sailer in Croatia, he learned a lot and gained some new proficient skills that he wants to continue developing and progress further.

He is hard working and a team player with a passion for life at sea. He spends fishing, sailing, or doing different sports activities in his free time.

Gabriel Allen Ivanišević

Deckhand

Gabriel, as one of the youngest members of the crew, is an excellent addition to Dalmatino. He was born in Melbourne, Australia, in 2000. so no worries about his English.

Gabriel is a sports person and actively plays football and handball. Being so young, Gabriel is very excited about acquiring new knowledge, although he has been working on different yachts for the past few years.

Gabriel will welcome you with a big simile, and you will always have a feeling that nothing is too hard for him. Although very young, he is also very skilled, so he is an excellent contribution to the Dalmatino crew.

Antonela Ivanišević

Hostess

Antonela was born in Split in 2002. After finishing high school, she went to study in Slovenia at the Hospitality and Tourism Vocational School because she wants to improve herself further and open new professional horizons.

Her love for the sea and working with people led her to join the talented and experienced Dalmatian team.

She is a great lover of nature and hiking; she especially likes spending time with hers family. She speaks English and Slovenian correctly, and she likes to take photos and engage in social networks in her spare time.

Ines Zemunik

Hostess

Ines was born in Split in 1995. After high school, she went to study in Graz (Austria) because she always wanted to study outside of Croatia. Ines perfected the German language in Austria, but after a year and a half, she returned to Croatia because she desired to continue her career in her home country.

Graduated in International Management in Hospitality and Tourism at Aspira in Split. She speaks fluent English and German.

In her free time, she loves hiking and is interested in any recreation, so Ines tries to spend most of her free time in nature and outdoors. She loves to travel, meet new people and cultures, and learn new languages.

With a completed course for a tourist guide, she is an excellent addition to the crew, and guests will be happy to learn new and exciting things from her while on board.

Jakša Radić Vržina

Chef

Jakša was born and raised in Split (1992) and has been surrounded by Mediterranean smells and tastes from an early age, which later became his signature cooking style.

He started his carrier as a teenager developing basic knowledge in a la carte restaurants on the coast and islands of Dalmatia. Still, his curious spirit led him abroad and to charter yachts, where he found himself most creative.

His inspiration comes from nature and the seaside way of life that can be shown in the traditional cooking presented in a modern way.

Enthusiastically learning new cooking techniques, but because of daily fresh fish, his focus is more on creating dishes that include raw or minimally treated fish that keeps freshness and taste.

Jakša is friendly, open, and always available to his guests for any request or suggestion about the menu, as his only goal is to have happy and satisfied guests.

He does sports and hiking in his spare time, but the biggest passion alongside cooking is traveling, meeting new people, and discovering new and exciting cultures.

Marko Žuljević

Barman

Marko was born in Split (1988) where he finished his school education as an electronics technician but being born by the sea made him take a different direction in life, and he started working on boats.

He is experienced in his job, serving his customers in the best possible way.

People would describe him as a very communicative and outgoing person. He speaks fluent English, and if you ever need good music, he is your go-to guy; when he is not on board Dalmatino, Marko is a DJ.

Stipe Ercegović

Deckhand

Stipe, the captain’s younger brother, was born in 1999 in Split, and same like his older brother, he has spent most of his younger days around the sea and boats or sailing with his father.

After he had finished Maritime High School, he decided to join his brother on his new ship, considering this to be the best way to gain life and work experience.

When he is not sailing on the sea surface, he is under the sea – diving.  This is his way of relaxing and uniquely connecting with the sea.  During the winter, he remains active and engages in various recreational sports such as futsal, basketball, and aerosol.

While aboard, Stipe is always there for all the client’s needs.  He will welcome you with a smile, ready to be at your service – whether you need a towel when going out of the sea, a tender ride, or some new water toy.

Dalmatino

Ana

I am in the air at this time and cannot send the pictures but will when we land in a
few hours. First of all the cruise was much more than we even envisioned. The
Dalmatino is an absolutely first rate motor sailer……smooth sailing, fabulous
accommodations, extremely comfortable and all in all a five star rating. However,
the best part was the staff beginning with our very capable captain Andreja. The
food was amazing…..I mean truly amazing. I don’t know how the culinary staff
could prepare and produce such great meals one after another. We certainly
enjoyed our dinners in port, but frankly the food aboard was much better. Marco
and Tanya could not have been more hospitable and attentive to our every need
and this is no easy group of customers believe me as most have traveled all over
the world and marveled at the service we received. The sailers Phillip, Ivan, and
Stebay (sp???) were exceptional and added to our daily enjoyment of water toys,
swimming and touring. I took note of how safety conscious this crew was and was
watching out for our welfare the entire trip. All of the crew made for a very
special voyage. Croatia and the Dalmatian Islands is one of the most beautiful and
scenic places I have ever been. The Croatian people are quite special and want
nothing more than to please their guests. I want to call out our special affection for
the young captain that not only guided a very spectacular voyage but frankly
became a friend by the end of the trip……as did the entire staff.
Your charter service was also amazing. Top notch service, a great value, and
attention to our special requests. When we charter again we will only do it through
MasterCharter. Your organization truly understands the meaning of treating their
customers as guests and family. Thank you for a wonderful week. Pictures will
follow…..
