Extra payments:
- CHARTER RATES DO NOT INCLUDE: Food and beverages for the charter guests, fuel for the yacht and tender/water toys, berthing fees, customs charges, guest laundry, communications, shore-side electricity and water, onshore transfers (paid out of APA), VAT, delivery/redelivery fee (if any), crew gratuity.
- APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance): 35% of the charter rate, which is paid in conjunction with the charter’s balance for covering running costs during the charter (food, drinks, fuel, mooring fees, and anything else that guests might need while on charter). The Captain will produce final accounts at the end of the charter, and any unused funds will be refunded in full to the Charterer directly. If the funds are insufficient, the Captain will advise the Charterer accordingly, and bills will be settled upon disembarkation.
- VAT: The Charterer shall at all times be liable to pay for the VAT amount applicable by Law at the time the charter is executed. The VAT rates are applicable by current tax legislation and cruising ground and are subject to change without prior notice or responsibility on the Broker, the Stakeholder or the Owner. Current VAT rate for yacht charters in Croatia is 13%, Italy 22%, and France 20%.

- Terms of payment: First payment (50% of the charter fee) is payable upon contract signing and necessary to confirm the booking. Second payment (50% of the charter fee + APA and other expenses if any) is payable 30 days prior to embarkation.
- DELIVERY/RE-DELIVERY FEE: if any, are costs of delivery/redelivery of the yacht to port other than the homeport of the yacht. Delivery/redelivery fees are to be confirmed once ports of embarkation and disembarkation have been confirmed. Delivery/redelivery fee should be paid at least 4 weeks prior to the beginning of the charter period together with APA expense.
- Crew gratitude A gratuity between 5% and 15% of the contracted gross Charter Fee for the entire crew is generally suggested to the Charterer. Still, it should be clear that the Charterer is under no obligation to leave a gratuity and at no time should a gratuity be solicited, either verbally or in written form when the Charterer is settling the final account.
