Meet the team

We are all sad to say goodbye, but we know her love for the sea and people will live on in each of us. Kristina was a person who enjoyed what she did, and she was an inspiration.
Although she graduated from the Faculty of Kinesiology, she has been connected to the sea and yachts since the beginning of her career. While still a student, she worked as a seller of travel arrangements and gained valuable first-hand experience in direct sales in tourism.

As soon as she graduated, she started working formally in the charter industry. It all began with the desire to provide access to those looking for different ways of traveling across the sea, but more importantly, giving guests something new every time.

In 2006 she founded MASTER CHARTER d.o.o., where she was the only employee. Years of dedicated, honest work and her motto, “Everything is possible for one who believes”, resulted in the team that MASTER CHARTER d.o.o., today is one of the most successful yacht charter companies in Croatia, with eleven employees and a fleet of 14 vacation yachts. Together with her husband, Kristina built an excellent team of professionals who today create new values in MASTER CHARTER d.o.o. and are recognized as reliable and valuable partners in the business community.

KRISTINA is no longer physically with us, but her unique spirit and inimitable personality will continue to be an integral part of the business of MASTER CHARTER in the coming years.

Although he has a law degree and legal practice, jointly with his wife Kristina, Stipe is the leading operative of our team, with particular responsibilities related to contracts, finance, human resources, and crisis management.

After graduating from law school, he worked in renowned financial companies and a large law firm in Zagreb, where he dealt with commercial, labor, bankruptcy law, insurance law, and the collection of outstanding debts.

His knowledge and many years of experience have greatly helped Master Charter to position itself in the demanding charter market and to embark on subsequent business ventures.

Along with Kristina and Stipa, Mirna has the longest tenure on our team. Considering that she comes from a family of sailors, she has considerable experience living and working there and from the sea. Before entering the charter business world, she worked as a hostess on several gulets in Croatia during her studies.

Although she is a professor of history by profession, she somehow ended up in nautical tourism again.

Working in Master Charter inspires her as she wants to show her clients Croatian hospitality and all the beauties of our breathtaking coastline. She feels like sailing is the best way to do it.

We recognized Mirna’s education, experience and love for the sea a long time ago, and as such she was a logical choice to the position of Deputy CEO.

Ivana, a dynamic force hailing from the vibrant city of Split, embodies the essence of adventure and hospitality. As a devoted mother of two, she exudes boundless energy and creativity, constantly striving to elevate the experiences of Master Charter’s clientele.

Her upbringing in a culturally diverse environment, coupled with fluency in four languages, has endowed her with a unique ability to connect with people from all walks of life. With a rich background spanning human resources, administration, and hospitality, Ivana is adept at orchestrating seamless yacht charters tailored to your every desire. Her multicultural background ensures that she can relate to and understand the needs of a diverse clientele.

About the splendor of Dalmatia, Ivana is on a mission to unveil the region’s natural wonders, rich heritage, and exquisite cuisine to the world. Her heart finds solace amidst the azure waters, g flavors, and melodic tunes, making her an indispensable asset in the gulet sailing industry. Her genuine love for Dalmatia ensures that your experience with her is not just a service but a heartfelt journey.

As Deputy Chief Executive Officer at Master Charter and an active member of CYBA, Ivana infuses every interaction with infectious enthusiasm, earning admiration from colleagues and clients alike. With Ivana at the helm, your journey with Master Charter promises nothing short of extraordinary.

Maja is perfect member of our team. From the first day, she fitted perfectly due to her cheerful nature and quick adaptability to any situation.

After graduating in maritime management from the Faculty of Maritime Studies, she did not work in her profession for a few years, so she thoroughly enjoys returning to what she truly loves-the sea.

Kind and always smiling, she will answer all your questions patiently and try her best to find the perfect option for your well-deserved holiday. Being a mom of two toddlers, she is familiar with multitasking, so you do not have to worry, as she will successfully organize all aspects of your vacation.

Maja deeply loves nature and the sea, so she spends most of her free time outside with her family.

Born and raised in Split, after living, studying and working in Zagreb she got her master’s degree in italian language and pedagogy where she developed great communication skills, team spirit, organizational and linguistic competencies and passion for tourism and sailing. Being a big fan of learning foreign languages, in addition to Italian, she is fluent in English, and is good at German and Spanish.

When not at work, her favorite thing to do is to spend time with family and friends, read a good book, travel, eat good food and spend time in nature and by the sea.

Irena has been in tourism for more than twenty-five years, and her experience did not go unnoticed.

Irena comes to us from Split, and since 1996 she has been professionally associated exclusively with tourism and is a specialist in the sale of tourist arrangements and marketing. Since years of rich experience in tourist sales, a large part of which is occupied by business related to renting yachts.

She speaks fluent Italian and English; her hobbies are traveling, reading, and studying foreign languages. Irena is a wife and mother of two children.

Ksenija is the special member of the Master Charter team. She is a mother of three children and has worked as a financial advisor for over 15 years.

Ksenija was born and raised in Zagreb, where she graduated from the Faculty of Economics in 2000, majoring in finance and marketing, after which she moved to Dalmatia. She likes the variety and new challenges that an ordinary working day brings.

She also enjoys working together with other team members. When she’s not at work and crunching numbers, you can find this dedicated financial professional spending time outside – hiking up the mountains; going on boat trips; exploring historical sites, or, her favorite – spending time with family and friends.

Ivana’s journey into digital marketing was sparked by her deep passion for photography and relentless pursuit of knowledge. She embarked on a mission to document her travel adventures, capturing the essence of diverse landscapes and cultures in her notebook.

Her time spent on small cruise ships in Croatia served as a catalyst, fueling her desire to showcase the warmth of Croatian hospitality and inspire others to explore the beauty of cruising in Croatia. Building upon this experience, she pursued formal education in digital marketing, where she honed her skills and gained a deeper understanding of the industry. Graduating with distinction from the Digital Marketing Institute, Ivana’s academic achievements stand as a testament to her expertise and dedication.

As an external collaborator, Ivana infuses her work with her passion for storytelling and visual creativity. Whether crafting engaging newsletters or compelling copywriting, Ivana’s adventurous spirit permeates every project she undertakes, making her a unique and valuable asset in digital marketing.

In her free time, she finds solace in travel and embarking on hiking expeditions with her loyal canine companion. With her camera in hand, she seeks to capture the intricate tapestry of the world, one snapshot at a time.

Johnnie is one of the oldest members of our team, not only by age but also by years spent in the company. He prefers not to be seen as an employee but as a part of the family.

Born in Germany and raised in Croatia, he is fluent in 3 languages. He graduated in General Conditioning at the University of Sports in Zagreb and worked in his profession for over 25 years. In the meantime, he decided to continue his education in IT, marketing and search engine optimization.

In addition, 30 Years ago, he worked for several years on cruise ships in multicultural environments, traveling the world across the Atlantic, the Mediterranean, and the Caribbean Sea. He is a proud husband and the father of a 21-year-old son and a 13-year-old daughter. His family gives him a lot of support, which helps him get everything done.

Dedicating a lot of time to work, thanks to them, he still has time to go to the mountains and the sea, and he spends most of his free time hiking with his dog, kitesurfing, diving, and spearfishing.
