About the area
The city Kaštela, in which the marina is located, is named after the Kaštels (castles) that form the city. The Kaštels were old forts that protected the Split coast, and over the centuries they have become towns with a long history. The surrounding area has a lot to offer to tourists who are looking for some historical sightseeing or entertainment. It includes the largest coastal city in Croatia, Split, and some historical sites such as the ruins of the ancient Roman city called Salona and the ancient Croatian fortress Klis.
